Terms of service
How bookings, delivery, content rights and payments are intended to work for brands and creators on UGC Stage.
Prelaunch policy draft
UGC Stage is preparing to launch. These are the proposed policies for its paid services, which are not yet available. They are not yet effective transaction terms. The final legal operator details, fees, payment arrangements and policies will be published before paid bookings open.
Using UGC Stage
UGC Stage connects brands with creators for commissioned video, photography and voice content. It provides tools for discovery, booking, communication, delivery and support. Each order will identify its contracting parties and the supplier of the content service. Describing Stage as a marketplace does not remove any responsibility imposed on it by law.
Users must be at least 18, have legal capacity to contract and be authorized to act for a business they represent. Creators must satisfy applicable identity, licensing, business and payout requirements before accepting paid work. Provide accurate information, protect your account and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Do not impersonate others, submit false documents, manipulate reviews, harass users, infringe rights or request unlawful or deceptive content. Brands are responsible for the accuracy and permitted use of their briefs, claims and supplied materials. Creators are responsible for the permissions and licenses their contribution requires.
Booking and the agreed brief
The order will record the deliverables, quantities, production specifications, included revisions, required inputs, price, applicable taxes and fees, delivery arrangements and the applicable content-rights policy. A binding deadline must be distinguished from an estimated turnaround. The brand sees the final total and applicable policies before confirming payment.
Browsing, publishing a request and submitting an application do not themselves charge the brand. Production begins after confirmed payment and the creator's explicit acceptance. Silence or a chat message does not automatically accept an order, confirm completion or move money.
Changes to scope must be expressly agreed and recorded. An additional charge or refund also requires a confirmed payment adjustment or support outcome. Existing orders keep their agreed price and policy version.
Delivery and revisions
Brands must provide the agreed references, assets, product information and samples. Creators must flag missing inputs and expected delays promptly. Any revised delivery arrangement should be expressly recorded; an estimate does not override statutory rights or an agreed deadline.
At least one revision is included per video, photo set or voice-over recording. The order states the exact allowance and scope. Corrections within the agreed brief differ from a new concept or additional deliverable, which may require an agreed price and timeline. Correcting a failure to meet the agreed specifications is not automatically a paid extra or refused merely because ordinary revision rounds have been used.
The proposed review target is three calendar days after formal delivery, with a reminder after 48 hours and requested support review after seven days without a response. These targets do not extinguish legal claims. Silence does not automatically approve delivery or release payment.
Rights in delivered content
The planned platform policy gives the brand all transferable economic rights in content delivered under the accepted order after full customer payment and final delivery. These rights are worldwide and perpetual and include organic use, paid advertising, commercial use in all channels, editing, derivative works, assignment and sublicensing. They are not negotiated by package tier or sold again as rights add-ons. The creator's bank payout date does not postpone this trigger.
The creator's consent to use their name, image, likeness and voice is limited to their embodiment in that delivered content. It does not cover unrelated or future content or identity use. Non-waivable moral, personality and statutory rights remain protected. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses and clearances.
Drafts and watermarked previews are for review and cannot be published or advertised. Raw footage, outtakes and editable source files are covered only when actually delivered; they are not automatically required deliverables. Creator posting, advertising access to a creator's account and category exclusivity are separate services or permissions. Creator portfolio use of brand work requires the brand's permission.
A full refund that unwinds the purchase of a deliverable normally requires the brand to stop using it and remove copies under its control, unless the settlement or law permits otherwise. A partial-refund decision identifies the work and rights retained. A complaint or fee-only adjustment does not automatically revoke unrelated rights. Final written transfer and refund provisions will be completed before paid bookings begin.
Payments and creator payouts
An approved payment provider will process payments and route funds. Customer funds will not be available for Stage's operating expenditure. A provider-held balance is not represented as legal escrow. The provider, final fees, tax treatment and settlement arrangements will be disclosed before paid bookings open; no commission rate is established by this draft.
The proposed creator schedule is a five-business-day wait after explicit brand approval or documented support release, followed by the first qualifying monthly payout run. It remains subject to provider confirmation, clearance, identity checks and applicable holds. The final schedule, cutoff, minimum, small-balance settlement route and bank-arrival estimates will be disclosed before a creator accepts paid work.
Creators must use an eligible verified beneficiary account. Bank changes may pause transfers while verification is completed. Failed transfers will be checked and retried after their cause is resolved; an unknown result must be reconciled before another attempt. Customer refunds are handled separately from monthly creator payouts.
Complaints and payment disputes
Contact support with the order reference, the concern and relevant evidence. Support will consider the brief, messages, deliverables, approvals and payment records, give both parties a reasonable opportunity to respond, and explain its decision. Either party can request reconsideration with missing evidence or a factual correction.
Disputed unreleased earnings may be held during review. Holds should be limited to the affected amount unless a broader legal, fraud or provider requirement applies. Approval and payout do not prevent a later chargeback. Any recovery from a creator must have a lawful contractual basis, be explained and be open to review; no bank debit will be made without a valid mandate.
Support decisions govern platform actions and are not judicial decisions. They do not remove statutory rights, payment-provider dispute procedures, regulatory complaints or access to a competent court.
Physical samples
If production needs a physical product, the brief must state whether it is a gift or returnable, who pays shipping and any return deadline and condition. An address is shared for shipping only through the agreed process; account identity or address information is not automatically disclosed. Returning a sample does not itself resolve a refund dispute about the content.
Restrictions and account closure
We may restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, a security incident or a legal obligation. Where lawful and practical, we will explain the restriction and how to request review. Restriction does not automatically cancel orders, forfeit eligible earnings or remove refund rights.
Users may request account closure through support. Open orders, eligible balances and any necessary record retention must be addressed. Material policy changes will be notified at least seven days before taking effect, or longer where required by law.
Applicable law and policy status
The intended Saudi launch policies are subject to applicable Saudi law. Nothing excludes mandatory rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Unresolved matters may be referred to the competent authority or court.
This prelaunch draft is available for review. It does not announce live payments, a completed provider agreement or an effective contract for a paid booking. The final policies and legal operator details will be supplied before those services become available.
